Invited Speaker Success: Dr. A. Krmpot Presents TETRA’s Breakthrough Research at SPIE 2026, Supported by ITC Grant

Dr. Aleksandar Krmpot Delivers Invited Talk at SPIE Photonics West 2026

We are proud to announce that Dr. Aleksandar Krmpot, representing the COST Action CA23125 – "The mETamaterial foRmalism approach to recognize cancer" (TETRA), was an Invited Speaker at the SPIE Photonics West 2026 conference in San Francisco.

Dr. Krmpot’s participation was supported by the TETRA ITC Conference Grant. His invited talk titled as:

"Ultrashort laser pulses interaction with hemoglobin and label-free imaging of erythrocytes"

Presented groundbreaking insights into the interaction of ultrashort laser pulses with blood cells. This research directly aligns with the core objective of the TETRA project, establishing advanced material formalism and photonic approaches as standardized tools for medical diagnostics and cancer recognition.

By showcasing label free imaging techniques on an international stage, Dr. Krmpot has significantly contributed to the Action's mission of fostering scientific excellence and visibility for researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC).
