We are pleased to announce that Prof. Tatjana Gric, Project Coordinator of the TETRA COST Action (CA23125), has been awarded support through the Joint Research Collaborative Seed Grant Program jointly established by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH).
The project is funded under Grant No. NTUST-VILNIUS TECH-2026-01 and aims to strengthen bilateral scientific cooperation between Taiwan and Lithuania by fostering early-stage collaborative research activities.
Strengthening International Collaboration within the TETRA Framework
As the Coordinator of the TETRA Action, Prof. Gric plays a central role in shaping the Action’s scientific vision, coordination strategy, and international outreach. This newly awarded seed grant further reinforces TETRA’s mission of expanding global research partnerships and promoting cross-border collaboration in the field of metamaterial enabled diagnostics and advanced electromagnetic sensing.
The NTUST–VILNIUS TECH Seed Grant Program is designed to support exploratory research initiatives, mobility, and joint scientific planning, serving as a catalyst for larger scale international projects. Prof. Gric’s involvement ensures a strong alignment between this bilateral collaboration and the broader objectives of the TETRA Action.
Advancing Metamaterial Research Beyond Europe
This support highlights the growing global impact of TETRA, extending its scientific network beyond Europe and strengthening ties with leading research institutions in Asia. By connecting European expertise with Taiwanese research capacity, the collaboration contributes to the development of innovative theoretical and experimental frameworks in metamaterials and complex media.
The TETRA community congratulates Prof. Tatjana Gric on this achievement and looks forward to the scientific outcomes and new collaborative opportunities emerging from this initiative.
